Q: How do CHS students perform academically?

A: CHS students rank among the state's best academically overall. Our students have performed above the 75 percentile consistently in the National Stanford Achievement Test.

Q: How is CHS financed and what does it cost?

A: CHS is a private school and does not receive any state or federal funding. We are a non-profit organization and cover costs through both fundraising and enrollment fees. Tuition and Fees for the 2004-2005 school year are HERE. For families needing assistance, we have multiple-child discount rates and financial aid opportunities.

Q: What can you tell me about "character development" for my child if he is enrolled?

A: All students at CHS are taught the basic scriptural principles of honesty, integrity, respect, love, compassion, responsibility, and trust. Our Christian education is based on biblical principles and produces individuals that reflect the character of Christ.

Q: What can we expect for class sizes at the school?

A: Class sizes vary depending on enrollment. On the average, classes have a low ratio of 10 to 15 students per teacher.

Q: How would you describe the school facility?

A: The CHS facility was built in 1997 and is a great blessing. We have more than enough class rooms at this time, designed to be age and subject specific. Rooms for younger children include private bathrooms. The school has a lunchroom, stage and full gymnasium for indoor sports plus computer and science labs and art and music rooms.

Q: Will my child be exposed to the Bible as part of the education process?

A: YES. We are a non-denominational Christian school, teaching and presenting all subjects in a biblical framework and interpreting all facts in light of God's word. School-wide, we begin each day with prayer.

Q: What does the school provide in the way of athletics and extra-curricular activities.

A: Elementary and Jr. High students have regularly scheduled gym classes with age appropriate sports taught either indoor or outdoor depending on weather. CHS students are encouraged to participate in public school athletics such as basketball, soccer, football andvolleyball. Public school extra-curricular activities are also available to CHS students and many do participate. We offer a specially tailored program for Winter Sports Club athletes.
