Parent-Teacher Fellowship

Mission Statement

The mission of CHS PTF is to support the vision of Christian Heritage School by promoting the involvement of parents in the education of their children and encouraging the development of Godly character in a biblically and academically challenging environment.  The Christian Heritage School PTF will promote communication, provide information, foster cooperation, and organize activities in a Christ-centered way.

Every CHS parent is a member of the PTF.  The PTF committee is made up of homeroom parents that meet once a month.  The PTF provides fellowship opportunities between parents and teachers.  The PTF committee organizes the following events for CHS: Grandparent’s Day, Pastor Appreciation, Thanksgiving luncheon, lunch for teachers during conferences, provides our annual auction with a class basket from each class, Teacher Appreciation event, and end of year activity.  In addition to the major events the homeroom parents help their teacher organize the classroom parent dinner, classroom activities and field trips (finding parents who are available to drive, read, copy, laminate, etc.).

Prayer Parents

Children are growing up in a world that is full of pressures and stress. The book of Philippians tells us “not to be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God” (Phil. 4:6).  A group of moms (and grandmothers) of CHS students meet every Tuesday for fellowship and to pray for our children, school and community.  If you would like to be a part of this, please contact the school office.
